The Mathematics Education Track is a collaboration between the Department of Mathematics and the School of Education. This track prepares students to become high school teachers and help address shortages of secondary mathematics educators. The curriculum includes

 

Students interested in the Mathematics Education track are jointly advised by the Department of Mathematics and the School of Education. Students should seek an advisor in the Department of Mathematics and should contact the School of Education as soon as possible for information on the Education coursework and the requirements for being accepted to the Education Program.
