The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is part of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, a unit of the College of Arts and Sciences. The department is housed on the third floor of the Charles H. Jones building on the west side of the Macon campus. The department consists of 16 professors.
The department offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with the options of an Applied Mathematics track or Mathematics Education track. It also offers transfer programs in Mathematics and Computer Science leading to the Associate of Science degree.
